Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This site is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. This policy explains how data is handled when you visit shadow101.com and applies to the site's pages and browsing features. It does not replace the app's or App Store's privacy information.

Privacy › Scope

1. Scope and information you provide

This site provides static pages with purchase verification guidance, tutorials, and setup references. It does not offer user registration, sign-in, or email signup. You can read the guides without providing your name, contact details, or payment information. Follow the tutorials to manage any subscriptions or server details you already have within Shadowrocket; do not send them to this site.

This site does not provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscriptions. A one-time purchase of the app is not a service plan. Examples on these pages explain fields and rule syntax only; you do not need to upload a Config, connection logs, subscription links, or credentials. Reading a tutorial does not give this website access to data within the app.

Privacy › Analytics

2. Visit logs and analytics

When you visit a page, the server hosting this site may log the request time, page path, response status, IP address, and browser request details. These technical logs are used to deliver pages, diagnose access errors, and protect the service. They are not a personal profile created by your use of this site.

We use analytics to understand page readership, device categories, and how well site navigation works. We also count intentional clicks on the App Store button on the access guide page. This data helps us identify gaps in the guides, improve mobile readability, and check that links work. A button click does not mean a purchase was completed and does not include Apple's payment results.

Data collection should be limited to what is needed for these purposes. Analytics events should not include subscription details, server credentials, or full query strings. How long visit logs and analytics data are kept depends on the hosting configuration; retention should be limited to what is needed for troubleshooting and trend analysis, not assumed to be indefinite.

Privacy › Browser Storage

3. Cookies and local storage

Static pages do not mean your browser stores no data. Page files may be saved in the browser cache. Whether analytics writes cookies depends on how the analytics feature is configured. If analytics cookies are used, they should only distinguish visits and summarize reading activity—not store subscription or payment credentials.

Local storage and cookies are different mechanisms. This site does not require you to submit identity details through local storage. If a page feature saves reading preferences, it should store only those preferences. Temporary states such as expanded navigation or page anchors are not account information.

You can view, block, or delete this site's cookies and data in your browser, or restrict scripts. Clearing them may reset preferences or affect analytics, but the page text and ordinary links remain accessible. Clearing browser data does not delete visit logs already generated on the server.

Privacy › App Store

4. External links and purchases

The only way to get Shadowrocket is through the App Store product page. Apple operates that page and the purchase process. Apple’s terms and privacy policy govern account sign-in, payment, restoring purchases, and related data processing after you leave this site.

External pages may collect device, network, and referral information under their own policies. This site cannot access your Apple Account, billing details, purchase history, or in-app connection data through the App Store button. For data handling by the Shadowrocket app, see the privacy information listed on its App Store page and the in-app information. This policy should not be taken to cover every app feature.

Privacy › Changes

5. Policy updates and guidance

If our data processing purposes, analytics methods, or browser storage uses change, we will update this page and revise the last-updated month at the top. Material changes to the scope of processing will be explained before the relevant feature is enabled. The date on this page indicates when the policy was revised, not an app update date.

This site has no form for submitting privacy information. For usage questions, see the tutorial; for explanations of settings, consult the settings reference. Before troubleshooting, hide identifying parameters in subscription links, passwords, and personal information. Do not post complete credentials where they can be accessed publicly.
